Is It Time For You?

Autumn is quickly approaching. At this time of year, we start thinking about fall activities instead of summertime activities…

Making plans for the fourth quarter. We take stock.

Did your health deteriorate a little this summer? Concerned about upcoming holiday parties?

This exercise will help you get back on track if you’re feeling a little lost. Write down these 3 things:

  1. your goals (the destination),
  2. your current situation (your coordinates), and
  3. the path that connects both of them (the route)

because the only way to get somewhere is by knowing the destination, your start point, and the path to take. You can use GPS to find the route once you have points A and B, right?

Create a graphic for yourself after you have listed these three things.

Because you only remember 10% of what you read. With a visual, retention increases by 30%. Would you like a higher ROI? Get started and follow the path. The ROI increases to a whopping 90%-victory by doing and practicing!

What do I mean when I say visual? It might be three bubbles. One with the objective and one with the obstacles standing in the way of your objective. Also, one that has elements that will help you reach your objective. Find out what will or will likely derail you and the path you need to follow.

Then plot your time in a pie chart. Determine what you must do to improve your health and level of fitness first. Do you have time for that education? (More than just some online research will be necessary.) Nowadays, the majority of people aren’t able to read textbooks and go to classes, but if you can, awesome! Get that education, let it produce the path you’ll need to take to get there, then go back to your time chart and find the time to put it into practice.

It doesn’t really matter when you begin. All that matters is that you begin.
